BIRTHDAY EXTRAVAGANZA

So I think that Caitlin had a pretty kickin bday, and it lasted nearly all weekend! Saturday we got to have some fun and hang out, it wasn't much but she kept saying that it was part of her "birthday extravaganza". She got to buy some sexy new shoes so I guess it counts as part of this so called "extravaganza".

On Sunday, we had dinner at the Marion's and got some awesome gifts and a great dinner from mama Marion. In fact, she got all the presents that she wrote down as suggestions for me to get her... which totally left me high-and-dry for ideas. Next year you guys are on your own!

Then Monday we did the Bollwinkel family tradition for Memorial Day of going down to the Provo Cemetery to visit graves and leave flowers. Her parents decided to start a new tradition of doing a picnic for Caitlin's birthday so we got Subway (Caitlin's fave) and a cheesecake (OK, I take that last one back, Subway is Caitlin's 2nd favorite... Cheesecake is #1).

On top of all that, Caitlin had a HUGE BBQ with all of our friends Monday night. It was so much fun! I needed a reason to test out the new grill and Caitlin's bday was coming up so I got 2 birds with 1 stone. Everybody wins!

All this and her bday wasn't even until Tuesday! I have to say that we have some way awesome family and friends. We had a blast with the BBQ and so many friends came. Caitlin really is a loved person. Here's to you hunny... your the best wife I've ever had!
