so lunch was quite eventful at the marion household this afternoon. maybe it was the intense excitement of finally being able to eat when we got home from church, or maybe it was just a typical zac and cait moment that keeps things interesting. so we were making our typical sunday breakfast at 2:30 in the afternoon after church: french toast, sausage, fried egg & toast, some form of fried potatoes and juice (i promise that we really aren't heffers, we usually split the egg & toast). first, zac decided not to make our usual hashbrowns and tried country potatoes that we had at this awesome restaurant in phoenix. i didn't realize that i put way too much oil in the pan and we ended up with 1) a small grease fire 2) our first batch was more like really thick potato chips than country potatoes. then, i dropped one of zac's french toast on the ground... i had just mopped it though so i figured it was ok and i guess he didn't get sick so i never told him about that one. and finally, as zac was getting out the butter it slipped out of his hand and we ended up with our first broken dish in the family. it was an interesting afternoon to say the least but we had a lot fun together, as usual.

I want to eat Sunday breakfast/lunch at your house! Maybe you'll need to try making those potatoes again.
